POSITIONS

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Anatomical Pathologists for a permanent full time position at Innoquest Diagnostics Pte Ltd. The successful applicant will be required to provide high quality histopathology, frozen section and cytology services for clinicians at the medical centers and hospitals serviced by Innoquest Diagnostics Pte Ltd in Singapore.

The candidate must possess a degree and post graduate qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.  Immediate qualification for full registration is preferred although we will also consider applicants that qualify for conditional registration with a pathway to full registration.  Requirements are detailed on the Singapore Medical Council website.

Remuneration will commensurate with experience and qualifications as well as on the individual’s and the department’s performance. The successful applicant can expect a very attractive remuneration package.

Medical Technologists conduct laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses of specimens within certain turnaround time to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. They analyse bodily fluids like blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components. They usually have a Diploma or University degree in Laboratory Sciences, e.g. Biomedical, Life, Medical, Pharmaceutical. Departments available in our main lab include Pathology, Serology, Microbiology, Haematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular and Special Chemistry.

Cytotechnologists use a microscope to evaluate screen samples on slides collected from the uterine cervix (Pap smears), lung, gastrointestinal tract or body cavities and determine which are tested negative and/or required further review are by a pathologist. They need to be allied health professional trained in cytotechnology.

Phlebotomists are tasked to collect specimens from patients’ bodies such as blood via venipunture or swabs from a wound for lab tests ordered by doctors. They usually have Nursing certifications or Phlebotomy qualification from a training institution/ college.

Laboratory Assistants perform many of the tasks that involve specimen handling. They are the receiving point when specimens arrive from our clients, confirm specimens are correctly identified and labelled and carry out preliminary processing steps such as dividing specimens into smaller portions for specific tests and directing them to the relevant parts of the laboratory. They are not generally required to have any specific scientific or tertiary education.

Commercial Managers assist doctors with any issues with our current clients and new doctors who would like to start using our services to ensure they have a seamless customer service experience. They ensure that doctors’ needs are met and also drive innovation by giving valuable inputs in how we can develop and improve our services.

  1. CLIENT SERVICES manage the day to day queries by our stakeholders – doctors, clients and partners. Being the Voice of Innoquest, they need to have excellent telephone and people skills with an ability to solve problems promptly and with a smile.
  2. DATA ENTRY input the patient data, profile test code and referring clinic into the LIS system. Accuracy is paramount to ensure the right test is done and the correct report is sent to the right doctor and patient. They then determine which department the specimen will be sent to depending on the test required to be performed.
  3. COLLATORS ensure all hardcopy of the medical reports are sorted correctly and ready for delivery by our despatch riders to our clients.
  4. IMAGERS help to scan the documents clearly in order for the Data Entry to input the information.

IT Professionals like Application Developers, Network and System Analyst, who use coding to write programs, are in demand to enhance the efficiency and security of our Lab Information System. Other IT roles include assisting the users with troubleshooting, software installation, managing infrastructure, etc.

HR plays a vital role in creating an employee-oriented and productive workforce as a business partner in areas including but not limiting to Recruitment, Training and Development, Talent Management, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, etc.

Finance is responsible for acquiring and managing the Company funds through activities like investment, banking, book-keeping, budgeting, forecasting and planning for expenditure, to ensure sufficient cash flow for sustainable business operations. Other Finance functions include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Management and Financial Accounting.

Despatch Riders and Porters are trained to transport specimens and timely deliver medical reports and other materials, such as consumables/ collection supplies, from our laboratory to our healthcare facilities and clinics.
